- Monday, 20 Feb: The 2012 Camp Nurse Symposium kicks off with registration opening at 2:30 pm and educational sessions from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Following a break for supper (on your own), ACN's membership will gather at the Hyatt Regency for the 2012 Annual Meeting, 7:30 - 9:00pm. The evening event is hosted by ACN's Board.
- Tuesday, 21 Feb: The Symposium continues today starting at 8:00 am with a full schedule of presentations about topics impacting camp nursing practice. "Enhance Your Camp Nurse Toolbox" while also getting contact hours for participation! Enjoy Tuesday's Camp Nurse Luncheon, exchange ideas with colleagues, discuss challenges, and expand your knowledge base. At 2:50 pm, Symposium attendees will travel via bus to CDC for a tour and conversation about the impact of camp upon the health status of our nation's youth. The group returns to the conference hotel around 6:00 pm. The evening is yours to enjoy Atlanta!
- Wednesday, 22 Feb:ACN joins the American Camp Association conference for four educational sessions plus a plenary presentation by Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods. ACN-sponsored sessions on this day will focus on the health/wellness aspect of children, nature and camp.
