WILLIAM “BILL” JONES

Finance Committee Chair

Bill joined ACN because of his interest in camp nursing as an integral part of the camping experience at Camp Lake Hubert/Camp Lincoln where he has been a director since 1970. He has also been involved with the National ACA organization serving on the National Board, a conference program group, and the national Insurance committee. On a local level he has been active with ACA Northland as their president for two terms, and then Treasurer, as well as a being involved with group purchasing, standards and legislation.  Bill has a strong desire to better understand and improve how the camp Health Center and its staff enable campers to be more proactive and responsible for their health both at camp and in their daily lives.

Bill lives in Minnesota and has two grown children. He enjoys sailing, being in the outdoors, reading, mentoring, helping human causes and creative construction. In addition to his love of the organized camping experience and the opportunity for positive child development, he has a background in engineering.
